Officer Strength Teams help soldiers become an officer in the Idaho Army National Guard through:

Reserve Officers’ Training Corps

Reserve Officer’ Training Corps (ROTC) allows you to earn your commission as you earn your degree as a member of the Idaho Army National Guard’s Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP).

Officer Candidate School

If you already have a bachelor’s degree, or are close to completing one, Officer Candidate School (OCS) provides you with the opportunity to become an officer. The physically and mentally challenging course will transform you into a strong, effect leader.

Become A Warrant Officer

Highly qualifies candidates can apply to become a warrant officer. Warrant officers are technical and tactical experts. They are the best of the best in their field. Officers and enlisted Soldiers count on warrant officers to be subject-matter experts in their field and look to them for advice.

With more than 40 different warrant specialties, there’s probably a path for you no matter what your military occupational specialty is.
